Dr. Mousamee Gaikwad
(Assistant General Manager)
She is a healthcare professional with a master’s degree in Health administration from Dr. D.Y. Patil institute. A healthcare professional with 5years of experience in clinical and nonclinical operations from corporate hospitals like American Oncology Institute and Max Super specialty hospital. Being an Assistant General Manager, she oversees the operational functions of hospital, ensuring efficient delivery of patient care, compliance with regulations, and effective resource management. She is passionate about advanced healthcare administration in Mahatme Eye Bank Eye Hospital.
Ms. Swati Sumesh Paentia Manager (Academics and HR)
She is a double post-graduate and a professional trainer in soft skills and business communication. As Manager – Academics, she ensures quality training and deep learning through programs ranging from OTA training to IOFF fellowships, supporting students’ holistic growth. As Manager – HR, she focuses on building a talented, dynamic team at Mahatme. She is also known for her exceptional skills in compering, singing, and coordination. Ms. Mrunali Jayant Daware
(TPA)
A Psychology graduate and the TPA Incharge at MEBEH, she manages all cashless and reimbursement procedures with efficiency. She handles corporate billing, responds to queries, and counsels patients with empathy. She also facilitates cashless services even for non-empaneled cases. Known for her soft-spoken nature, she understands patients’ concerns deeply. Her guidance helps patients navigate the reimbursement process smoothly and confidently.
Mr. Nikhil Kanfade
(MJPJAY)
He is a Postgraduate (MSW) and the Incharge of MJPJAY-PMJAY at Mahatme Eye Bank Eye Hospital. He ensures eligible patients receive free, cashless treatment under the MJPJAY scheme. His role includes guiding patients through procedures covered up to ₹5 lakh per family per year. He facilitates access to surgeries, therapies, and follow-up care. His support is vital in making quality eye care accessible to underprivileged patients.
Mr. Madan Digambar Gawai Manager (Stores and Purchase)
A Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering from MSBTE, Mumbai, he has been managing Procurement and Supply Chain at MEBEH for the past 7 years. He works on cost reduction, timely deliveries, and strong supplier relationships. He prepares reports on buying trends and implements procurement policies. He also identifies future vendors and trains staff on FIFO and the KANBAN system. His efforts ensure an efficient and well-organized store setup.
Shrikant Jambhulkar
( OT Incharge )
A Diploma holder in Hospital Management and a certified OTA from RTMNU, he has been managing the OT department at MEBEH for nearly 30 years. He takes a keen interest in training OT staff in both theory and practical work. His leadership ensures smooth functioning of this vital department. With his guidance, handling around 60 surgeries per day has become routine. His experience and dedication are key to the department’s efficiency.
Ms. Pratiksha Dhanvijay (Investigation Incharge)
The Investigation Incharge at MEBEH is a skilled professional specializing in a wide range of eye diagnostic procedures. With expertise in both gross and fine investigations, all pre- and post-operative assessments for Cataract, Glaucoma, LASIK, Cornea Transplant, and other critical surgeries are handled with precision. The Investigation Department runs efficiently under her careful supervision. Her commitment ensures accurate diagnostics and supports successful surgical outcomes. She plays a key role in maintaining high standards of patient care.
Ms. Priya Raut
(OPD Incharge)
A qualified M.S.W. and M.S.P.W., she confidently manages the crucial role of OPD Manager. She leads her skilled team to ensure smooth and efficient OPD operations. Her responsibilities include patient flow optimization, staff management, and data analysis. She is dedicated to delivering excellent patient care and enhancing satisfaction levels. Ms. Yogita Banait
(IPD Incharge)
The IPD Incharge at MEBEH is a hardworking and dedicated professional with a DMLT qualification and pathology training from Arvind Eye Hospital. She manages the complete pre-operative and post-operative care of patients. Her role includes overseeing everything from admission to discharge. With strong clinical and organizational skills, she ensures smooth functioning of the IPD. Her commitment enhances the quality and efficiency of inpatient care.
Mr. Dilip. B. Moon
(Counsellor)
The counsellor at MEBEH is a highly experienced team member who began his journey at the micro level. Over time, he gained hands-on experience in primary eye investigations, vision testing, syringing, A-scan, and handling billing and accounts. Known for his strong rapport with both patients and staff, he has become a trusted presence. His comprehensive understanding of clinical and administrative tasks made him a natural fit for the counselling role. He now carries out this responsibility with dedication and effectiveness.

The camp department, under the SMM Eye Welfare Charitable Trust, plays a key role in facilitating free surgeries. His leadership ensures the success and impact of these social initiatives.
